Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 25, 2026

1. Introduction

Proxies ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Proxies platform and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

IMPORTANT: Proxies is an experimental platform currently in active development. By using our Service, you acknowledge that features, functionality, and data handling practices may change without prior notice.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account registration information (email address, name)
  • Authentication data when you sign in via OAuth providers (Google, GitHub)
  • Profile information you choose to provide
  • Communications you send to us

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage data (features accessed, professions activated, API calls made)
  • Device information (browser type, operating system)
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

2.3 MCP Protocol Data

When you connect your AI client to Proxies via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), we may process requests and responses to provide the Service. We do not store the content of your AI conversations unless explicitly required for debugging or service improvement, and any such storage is temporary and anonymized where possible.

3. Data Flow Architecture

To help you understand how your data moves through our system, here is a detailed overview of the data flow when using Proxies AI Helpers:

3.1 How Data Flows

Your AI Client (Claude Desktop/Code)

↓ MCP Protocol Request

Proxies Gateway (proxies-gateway.fly.dev)

↓ Tool Execution

AI Helper Processing

↓ Response

Back to Your AI Client

3.2 What Data is Processed

  • Tool Invocations: When you use an AI Helper, your AI client sends the tool name and parameters to our gateway
  • Helper Responses: Our gateway returns skill instructions, checklists, templates, and reference data to your AI client
  • Authentication Tokens: Your session token is validated on each request to verify your subscription status
  • Usage Metrics: We log which helpers are used (not the content of your conversations) for analytics and rate limiting

3.3 What We Do NOT Store

  • The content of your conversations with AI
  • Files or documents you analyze with AI Helpers
  • Outputs or results generated by the AI
  • Personal or sensitive data you discuss with the AI

3.4 Third-Party AI Providers

Important: Proxies provides tool definitions and instructions to your AI client. The actual AI processing (understanding your questions, generating responses) happens on your AI provider's servers (e.g., Anthropic for Claude). Your conversation content flows directly between your AI client and their servers—not through Proxies.

Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy to understand how they handle your conversation data.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • To process your profession activations and API requests
  • To communicate with you about the Service
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To develop new features and services

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating our Service (hosting, analytics, authentication)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority
  • Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Proxies, our users, or others
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

WARNING: As an experimental platform, our security practices are continuously evolving. You use the Service at your own risk and should not transmit highly sensitive information through the platform.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some information may be retained in backups for a limited period.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or restrict processing of your information
  • Request portability of your information
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email address below.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect Service functionality.

10. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party services including:

  • OAuth providers (Google, GitHub) for authentication
  • AI clients (Claude Desktop, Claude Code) via the MCP protocol
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers

These third parties have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
